@13 - Since Event Monitoring and DDM can be configured to look for strings, you can monitor for “Error in Agent” and take action based on that. There’s tons of workflow built in to all those tools.

You can look at log.nsf and search for Miscellaneous Events documents.
Form=”Event”
then look in “Eventlist” field for
stuf like:
09/07/2008 21:28:39 Error in Agent ‘replicaCheck’ calling script library ‘DXNotesContentProcessing’: Script library signer ‘CN=Test1/O=NotesNinjas’ does not have proper rights

There are a few free templates out there, or just build one yourself, or get me to for a small fee.

There is an OpenNTF project which I made called Database Alert which will let you specify an agent and after any number of minutes you will get an Email alert if the agent has not run.

Why would you not just use DDM to monitor for agent manager messages? When an agent doesn’t run due to permissions, doesn’t that echo to the log?

You want EAM, Essential Agent Manager which does everything you are looking for and is from rprwyatt.
GSX does not actively monitor agents nor fix them automatically.

There is a nice all-purpose utility called PowerTools from Help Software http://www.helpsoft.com

Not sure if it has notification, but would be good for problem diagnosis.

We use GSX Monitor to do agent monitoring. I believe DDM also has the ability to do this.

Our company Teamstudio has been running for a long time and are always keeping a finger on the pulse with the latest market requirements. We are working on this very problem you mention above and are in testing for something called Agent Registry. You may or may not know a person called ROCKY OLIVER. First of all: it’s not because you create a website, that you automatically attract visitors. You should promote it, and read about Google rankings and stuff.
About the header: the color scheme looks a bit oldskool to me, and I’m not fond of the, eh, font you use. Bold,3d,… all combined in one doesn’t look good to me in the end. Simpler is better.
And: don’t use Comic Sans MS. It looks cheap, it’s everywhere and it’s bad taste. It’s what you see at office when people want to get rid of Arial and are in a creative mood. It reminds me of the little jumping matchstick guy from MS Word you see everywhere :-S.
Then, the red buttons. Too much, too old! The lips are nice though…
These are my opinions, and at-first-glance look. Hope it helped.

hi, i tried to use viewnify 1.1. i’ve noticed that on Column Properties, the font i want to use is arial but when i viewnify it and check on the designer its always default sans-serif.

is this a bug?

Hi, I was made alone with Photoshop header for my new shop!I make it my self ‘cos I do not have lot of monay to pay some PRO. I just buy image from fotolia and make a header before 2 months. I’m selling in that shop ebooks. But now when I looking all around maybe that is not so good idea that header with monay in the theets (maybe that not attracct people, i do not have now after 2 monaths lot of visits on site) maybe is better that I was put some blond business girl as image in header! I’m not webdesigner?? What do you think about my header, what would you like to change, what would you like to put in header??? Please answer me??

I’m using a lot of tables in a fairly straight forward manner. Basically what I’m creating is an outline with proper indenting of each subsection. It shows up perfect in a browser but the client is something else again. The tables are Fit With Margins. I’m merging a lot of cells so as to create the indent effect. When I open a doc in the client the margin’s left margin might be anywhere from 2 to 6 inches to the right. By opening the table’s property box, dropping down the Table Width, and clicking on Fit With Margins (which is where it already it) the table rights itself and returns to its normal size. Pain in the @$$ to have to fix it every time I open a doc with a table in it.
